Robert Tinker
Bob Tinker has, for thirty years, pioneered innovative approaches to education that exploit the power of technology. Twelve years ago he started the nonprofit Concord Consortium to focus on educational technologies. His group originated the idea of using sensors in student learning investigations, pioneered online collaborative student projects, and created the first online high school cooperative. Bob earned his PhD in experimental low temperature physics from MIT and has taught college physics for ten years. He is a pilot and photographer.
