Anette "Pesko" Hosoi
Peko Hosoi is a professor in mechanical engineering at MIT. She received her A.B. from Princeton University and her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, both in physics. Before moving to MIT she was faculty in the department of mathematics at Harvey Mudd College.
Peko's research interests include fluid dynamics and biolocomotion; in particular, her group recently developed RoboSnail, a wall-climbing robot that mimics the motion of terrestrial gastropods.
